This bond:

• Replaces 5 schools

  • Explorer Academy

  • Olalla Elementary

  • South Colby Elementary

• Eliminates 43 portable classrooms

• Renovates the oldest parts of SKHS

• Utilizes current sites to replace worst condition schools

• Helps schools meet health and safety standards

• Adds early learning centers to help our youngest succeed from the start

• Renovates South Kitsap High School, giving students overdue instructional space, including dedicated space for trades, technical, and special education

MAKE CRITICAL SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS

This bond:

• Upgrades emergency communication

• Traffic access improvements (separate family and bus areas)

• Accessibility upgrades

• Better parking lot lighting

• HVAC replacements

SAME LOCAL TAX RATE AS 2022

This bond:

• Keeps next year's tax rate the same as 2022

• Guarantees $36 million of state matching funds

  • If unclaimed, this money we have paid into will go to another school district​

• Gives us the opportunity to support the next generation of learners without overburdening taxpayers
